Race (Human/Vampire/Half-Vampire/Hunter [Clan or Independent]): Half-Vampire
Ability (applies to half vampires and vampires only): Bungee Gum (This is a multipurpose and flexible ability based on energy. Bungee gum allows Hisoka to attach threads to the things he throws (usually playing cards), stick objects to other objects, use it to bounce things back, and attach elastic and invisible threads to people, thereby allowing for tracking, if he so wishes.
This aside, Hisoka is strong and proficient with throwing a special kind of playing card like knives.
Character Personality:
Hisoka is manipulative, mercurial, a pathological liar, obsessed with power, something of a pervert and very much crazy. And that’s just an overview. More a psycopath than anything else, Hisoka will murder at whim. Age,gender, race and class have no meaning to him;only strength holds any merit (or any kind of interest). He may spare those he considers worthy as entertainment, though, or those that hold absolutely no interest at all (weak people). He doesn’t appear to have any clear goals, nor does he, for all appearances want any, beyond defeating the strongest he can find. He tends to be secretive and decieves for the fun of it. He doesn’t advertise his vampire half, often lying without skipping a beat and so casually that people are left wondering. Not to say he denies his lineage. He appears to take a perverse delight in drinking blood, whether or not it’s neccessary.
In his saner moments, he can coexist with people who serve some purpose to him, whether as entertainment, or as partners of some kind to complete a means to an end. It’s not unknown for him to keep company with powerful people who can hold their own against him. As such, it’s no surprise that Hisoka is usually alone, but delights in people—especially if he can play tricks, some more cruel than others, on them.
Hisoka has a penchant for playing cards and “magic tricks” as much as deception and killing. He boasts a small talent in sleights of hand as a result. Notably, Hisoka has an affectation that leads him to speak with suits (spades, clubs, diamonds, hearts).
Character Description: Hisoka has pale skin and narrowly slanting gray eyes. Those are about the only things that never change about him. True to his deceitful nature, he changes his hair color from time to time, and for no apparent reason. Currently, it’s dark blue with black at the tips. He usually slicks his hair back, but leaves it down from time to time. Hisoka generally favors a fashion flair that’s somewhere between a jester and a magician, the result being something which can be best described as harlequin. The messy and colorful patchwork sleeveless silk shirts and occassional jacket he usually favors, combined with trim but equally colorful leather pants make him stand out at any gathering. (Even though clothes, too, are subject to change.) He also applies two facepaint tattoos to his cheeks daily. On ordinary days, it’s a teardrop and a star, but some say when he’s out for blood, he marks his right cheek with a blood red cross. Hisoka’s frame is tall, lean, and wiry, far stronger than it looks at first glance.
Overall, Hisoka could be a looker if he chose to, but he doesn’t seem to care about his appearance nor his modesty.

Hisoka’s past is about as murky as his gray eyes. It’s as if the records were wiped clean. A select few, however, will admit to knowing three things: he’s a half-vampire raised in an orphanage as a bastard son, he was taught hand sleights and tricks by a mysterious wandering magician, and lastly, he cut all ties to the orphanage and disappeared, only to re-emerge after slaying every single member of his vampire lineage.
Since then, Hisoka has wandered much of The World That Never Was, like a murderous ghost, killing indiscriminately and participating in activities out of boredom at intervals. For all this, he’s managed to keep a managably low profile, perhaps because no witness ever survives.
